Today we celebrated the retirement of a very special person. Ms. Judy West, the head Traffic Clerk, retired today after over 34 years of service. Ms. West began her career in March of 1983 and has been an inspiration to us all. Ms West, The North Little Rock Police Department commends you for your dedication and wishes you the best in this new chapter of your life. Ms. West's father Gene Johnson, served as a North Little Rock Police Officer. Please take a moment and congratulate Ms. West for her years of dedicated service to the City and citizens of North Little Rock.

We’re still waiting on the day EVERYONE participates in the #9PMROUTINE. Earlier today, officers took a report in which a handgun, iPhone, iPad, and laptop were removed from an unlocked vehicle. EVERY NIGHT by 9pm we encourage everyone to lockup their vehicles and homes. We want your valuables and weapons to stay in your possession. #HideItLockItKeepIt
