The North Branford Land Conservation Trust would like to thank all who contributed to us on the Great Give on May 2-3. The donations for this first time campaign by NBLCT totaled $865, plus we received a Golden Ticket award of $500, making our total $1,365. The Great Give brought in under $1.3 million in the New Haven region, with 360 nonprofits participating. Thank you to Sandy's Pizza for donating two delicious pizzas to our event. The proceeds will go towards funding our purchase of the Harrison Preserve in North Branford.

The walk at Evergreen Woods hosted by the North Branford Land Conservation Trust yesterday was a great way for families and friends to get out and enjoy some fresh air. Thirty-four people and three dogs scampered along the winding 1.5 mile trails surrounding the complex. Snowdrops and jack-in-the-pulpits were spotted along the trail.
