Home of Chicago's Thinnest Pizza! Al's Pizza comes from a long line of family restaurateurs. In 1979, our parents opened their first restaurant/ Deli in Elmwood Park. It was our first taste of owning our own restaurant/Deli and it was called Adele’s Deli.

Then in October 1999, we opened our first pizza restaurant named Al’s Pizza at 8530 W. Lawrence Avenue in Norridge, Illinois which is owned and operated by Al Karalis. Then in December 2006, we opened our second Al’s Pizza at 6344 W Irving Park Road in Chicago, Illinois . The second Al’s Pizza location is owned and operated by Al’s older brother Michael Karalis.

We were given this 80 year old recipe from a very dear friend or ours from Italy . Our thin crust pizza is the very best in town and we also serve stuffed pizza, double dough pizza, panzarotti’s and many of Al’s own special pizza’s. Not only do we carry pizzas, but we also serve an assortment of appetizers, soups, salads, pasta dinners, sandwiches, and a wide selection of catering menu all made delights from Al’s kitchen.

The Chicago Sun-Times recently voted Al’s Pizza as “One of the Best Pepper & Egg” sandwich in town. Let your tongue do the tasting and try our Pepper & egg sandwich made fresh for you every day or any of our delectable pizzas.

We are open 7 days a week Monday to Thursday, 11:00am until 11.00 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 11:00 a.m. until Midnight, Sunday, 11:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. and we offer fast, hot delivery all hours of operation.
