Kintsukuri Institute of Cosmetology is reinventing the cosmetology school experience by accessing higher education opportunities that enable students to develop the knowledge and skill necessary to achieve their professional goals through inspiring and defining the future of beauty and wellness professionals.
Our goal is to educate students far beyond just what the state board requires. We are here to mold and develop industry professionals. One of the biggest challenges for cosmetology schools everywhere is the drop out rate. KIC will pride itself on keeping its students interested and helping them to find their passion within the industry.

March is the start of the 4-week Make Up Course. Our advanced course starts with a lot of color theory. In April, we will start booking appointments for make up applications and make overs. These students will be ready to do prom make up just in time for the Prom. Students can receive a Make Up Artist Certification!
We are CLOSED today due to storm damage in Niles. If you had an appointment we will be contacting you to reschedule. We will re open on Saturday.

Look at our wonderful Nail Bar! We can do 6 Pedi's and 7 Mani's at one time! Come for mother-daughter or girlfriends services. Manicures are $12 and Pedicures are $18. Our students do a terrific job! Yes, we also do Shellac $15.

Congratulations is in order today! Our CTE students have hit the Clinic Floor. That means we have over 30 students able to do services on outside clients. Please share this post and help them to fill their schedule.

Acrylic Nails! These students have done an amazing job. They are all so very talented. Mark your calendars for February 21st. They will all be ready to take outside clients. Will be speaking at the PAC in Edwardsburg this evening at 6:30 on our Cosmetology and Esthetics high school programs. Please come by if you think your high school student has an interest. The program is open to all area high schools.
