We have a full service bar, with Karaoke on Fridays and Trivia on Sunday's!  Peter Giannacopoulos immigrated to the United States from Greece in 1967.  From the age of twelve his life was spent on the waterfronts of Boston where he came to know and love every aspect of the restaurant business.  At twenty, planning on a career in engineering, he was working for a major engineering firm while attending college.  One afternoon, a corporate decision to eliminate his position left him without funding for further education and he found himself at the first great crossroad of his life.

Reflecting on his early waterfront training as a valuable tool, he changed direction professionally.  On April 21, 1975 with the support of his family and friends he opened Dolphin Seafood restaurant. Since that time his mornings have been spent on the piers of Boston personally selecting the fish which is prepared and sold in his restaurants.

Peter’s philosophy has been, “to handpick the finest seafood and serve it to his guests in a friendly atmosphere at the most reasonable prices possible.”

This successful “Phin-osophy” as they call it, has allowed the family to expand its services to other areas as well. The Catering department is excited to bring the Dolphin’s vast menu fresh to your door step. Also, the newly renovated Function Rooms are top of the line allowing them to bring their expertise to your own private setting. Through the history of the Dolphin, Peter offers his employees and customers  an inspirational moment to perceive life’s disappointments as a vehicle of opportunity to believe in their dreams.
