Description
41GALLERY Photography | Art 41GALLERY is a new gallery committed to exhibiting local and nationally known photographers and artists. 41GALLERY will also be organizing other art and cultuural events including guest lecturers, workshops, readings and concerts.
Our spacous exhibit space is also available for rental for workshops, meetings and other events. Please send us an email if you are interested in participating in any of these events or would like to join our email list.
Our gallery is located in Room 220 on the top floor of the Nahant Community Center, a Nahant Preservation Trust building.
Currently the gallery is open by appointment bewteen the hours of 10AM and 6PM. We are more than happy to open the gallery at a time that works with your schedule.
We are planning to expand our hours very soon. In the meantime we are happy to arrange other times for the gallery to open. Please feel free to drop us an email and we will arrange a time that fits your schedule.

"The Sea As I See It" | Fred A. Wilson II Vintage North Shore photography from the 1960’s archivally printed on Somerset giclee paper.
“The Sea As I See It” Prints by Fred A. Wilson II. Our main exhibit consists of over 20 (11x14) vintage Nahant color photographs by Fred A. Wilson. Printed on Somerset giclee paper, these original 35MM Kodachrome images have been selected from his audio-visual slide show "The Sea As I See It" produced in the mid-1960’s.
“Voice of the Print” | Paul Caponigro | A beautifully printed portfolio of varnished tri-tone reproductions.
“The Voice of the Print” portfolio by Paul Caponigro. This portfolio was published in 1990 and is comprised of eight varnished tritone reproductions. One of the eight prints in the portfolio was taken in Nahant in 1958. Early in his career Caponigro photographed throughout the North Shore and in Nahant from the late 1950’s until the mid-1960’s.
