I can’t tell you how excited I am! We collected $575 in our Baby Bottle Boomerang fundraiser for Life’s Connection. Life’s Connection was so happy and there were lots of “thank you” and hugs to go around. The money we raised will go towards diapers, wipes, clothing, etc. My heart is overflowing with gratitude for all that our church does when asked to help out our fellow brothers and sisters. Last night our Missions Ministry served a meal at the Hope Center. The clients at the Hope Center were so appreciative. It was an honor serving them. Thank you for giving us this opportunity to help and serve our brothers and sisters that are in need. God asks us to "love thy neighbor." This is what He is talking about. Blessings, Beth

Maxwell St. Parking was a huge success! We had filled the bottom lot really early in the day both Saturday and Sunday! Thanks to all who helped with this important fundraiser!

In church today, Rev Charles Sagay told us about the Mission School of Hope in Cameroon, Africa. The grade school has about 210 children and the High School has about 40. The children come to school speaking only the unwritten Baka language and soon learn to speak and write French and English. Children from a six-mile radius attend the Mission School of Hope. The whole church blessed him before he left us today. Safe travels, Charles!

Please join us this Sunday, May 29 to see Charles Sagay from the Mission School of Hope in Cameroon, Africa. He will fill us in on all the exciting things that are happening at the School. More and more children are being fed, given medical assistance and getting an education.

I was at church yesterday and looked into the Sanctuary. I was so glad that I had my cell phone to take this picture. If you think the stained glass looks nice on the outside, I'd invite you to come and worship with us to see the beauty of the glass from the inside. I think God was just spreading a little sunshine into my life (and Sue Roberts).
