In 1980 Rosine's Restaurant was opened by Jim and Rosine Culcasi and their children in Monterey, California. The restaurant was an instant success and the family shared in the work, from cooking and baking to serving and greeting. Rosine's established a reputation with satisfied customers who enjoyed their delicious homemade soups, hearty meals, homemade pies and sumptuous array of delicious, homemade cakes. After five years, they relocated to their current location in downtown Monterey which they are now celebrating over 37 successful years and have been voted 'Best Family Restaurant' and 'Best Desserts' since 1992!
Rosines continues a fine tradition of homemade food, generous servings, daily specials and award-winning desserts. Rosine's is open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner and weekend brunch. Enjoy your meal, and thank you!

Three years ago today on 7-18-14 our first episode 'Stuffed and Twisted' aired on The Food Network Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives! We are very thankful to have been chosen by Guy Fieri and his staff, and you can still watch us every couple months in re-runs!
