Art Insight Emporium, or A.I.E., is an art center to promote and grow artists’ skills, to teach aspiring artists, to heal through art therapy, to sell artw It is my dream to open an art center that is a destination point for artistic culture in our community. I am going to start small but hope that one day the center will grow into its own larger building. At Art Insight Emporium, AIE there will be a monthly Gallery Night, where a different artist or two will be featured the gallery will be open to the public and on opening night we will have refreshments, music, and people will get a chance to meet the artist and see the new work, and work will be available for purchase that night as well as the following Saturday.
There will be a monthly art lecturer, possibly an artist from the community, or a curator, show organizer, or educator. It will also be a chance for the public to come into the gallery and see what will be new for the following month.
Classes will be held during the week and possibly some weekends. The classes will vary from beginner level to the advanced level. And occasional special workshops or novelty classes will be offered from time to time. The goal behind the classes will be advancement, people learning and perfecting their talents, as well as people finding new talents. It is my hope to open classes for children and teens, as well as art therapy classes as time goes on.
It is my hope that this gallery will help to grow art appreciation in Monroe, and give artists the space to sell their work and have their work respected. As well as inspiring the community.
Art can open new thoughts, and be a muse to new ideas. Communities that have a strong artistic influences are communities that are more frequented by tourism, and happier places to live.

The Gallery will be closed for this week. My sweet girl is going away to her very first away from home camp! So I will be on the other side of the state and will be checking out all of the wonderful shops on our west side of the state and bringing back new ideas for the gallery!!!! We will be open again Thursday August 3rd, and Friday August 4th! And Don't forget the Downtown Monroe Fine Art Fair and Jazz Fest is the Second Weekend in August so the gallery will be open, Friday August 11th, 11-6, Saturday August 12th 11-6 and Sunday August 13th 11-6!!!!!

But you can always buy local original art from artists, who are small business owners who love their product so much they have made their product from years of dedication, passion, and effort. Each and every piece is time and passion. Every mug you purchase from a local potter, every vase from a glass blower, that holds the flowers from your yard and every handmade serving tray that completes your Holliday meal comes from the heart and soul of a dedicated craftsman. Tomorrow Morning's Art Journaling Class will be Cover Day!!!!!!!!!! All of the supplies will be out and everyone will be able to use all of them in any way they want too!!!!!!

These girls Rocked this weeks Painting Camp!!! They focused on these paintings all week. We worked on our critical eye to fix and adjust our paintings and bring them up to the next level!
