Happy National Red Wine Day! 🍷 Raise a glass of your favorite red wine. Today we appreciate the hard work and dedication that goes into every glass. From the farmers who tend the grapes, to the hard working people who harvest them, and the winemakers who put in countless hours making sure it tastes just how you like it. Cheers! #nationalredwineday
Need to haul just a few tons of grapes? Have no fear, the gooseneck, bobtail, and F550 are here! #harvest2019
With record rain this past winter, a cool spring, and a hot summer – the 2019 harvest has been fascinating! The Central Valley region is fully underway with white varietals in full swing. Lodi is ramping up and should peak in just a few weeks. The North Coast rang into harvest a little over a week ago, and the Central Coast is starting with sparkling varietals this week. Oregon’s grapes will reach maturity and be ready to pick in September! #harvest2019
#INTERNSINACTION ⭐️ Patience is key⏳Nam is a recent Chemical Engineer grad from San Jose State University, currently interning with our Innovation team. Here she is experimenting with a new coating - a chemical compound made to improve the glossy finish of our closures. She says what has made her time here enjoyable is the work environment, the kind people, and the ability to work on challenging yet exciting projects. “On some days we get an early start, and by early I mean 6am! It really wakes me up though, and I love that. There’s never a lack of interesting things that go on in the office.” #weareG3

#INTERNSINACTION ⭐️ Check, double check, and then check again! 🔍 Meet Jessica. She is a junior at California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) San Luis Obispo spending her second summer interning at G3. This year she is working in the Bottling Services Division. One of her projects is ensuring the quality of the products that come off our lines. Here she is making sure our single serve StackTeks are up to standard as they’re packaged and shipped out to customers! Her favorite thing about being an intern at G3 is “the ability to do hands-on work and receiving a balanced workload that keeps her days interesting and challenging.” #weareg3

Beat the summer heat with cold brew coffee from Sightglass Coffee 😎 • #CUSTOMERSPOTLIGHT: "Petainer Kegs enabled us to get our project off the ground with ease. With our limited space, we were unable to house bulky metal kegs or to manage the cumbersome set-up necessary to clean them. With Petainer, we know we're getting clean, sanitized, and pressurized kegs on a swift turnaround and with a reasonable minimum order." – Sergio Arreola, Director of Sightglass Cold #petainerkeg

#INTERNSINACTION ⭐️ And who says summer projects can’t be fun? Alex attends UCLA and is interning this summer at G3’s Closure Division. Here he is cutting a wine bottle in half, testing oxygen transmission rates of the glass to ensure efficient product performance. His favorite thing about interning has been the ability to experience and try new things. He says, “i’m never bored and love the cool projects I’ve been assigned.” #weareg3

Meet the faces behind all the crazy harvest commotion, Celeste and Tim aka our power billing team based in Modesto! These two have a huge responsibility and work diligently to keep operations running, and they do it behind the scenes. #blessed 🍇Celeste's favorite #harvestmoment is during ‘month-end’. “It’s fun and intense! I get excited seeing the numbers for the total load counts to date. It’s also the toughest part for our settlements team, but we always pull through with all hands on deck working off hours to get everything in to reach our goal.”

Impending rain 🌧 More than 100 shipments for the North Coast on the day. 49 shipments out of ONE single vineyard. All hands were on deck to make everything happen.”
