facebook.comUpdate: Due to ventilation where the science lab is located, the administrative team has decided to release MHS students early. While there is no danger, we want to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our students and staff. The campus will begin an early release at 11:15 am. Bus transportation will be provide at this time for students to take their normal bus home. Parents may pick up their students at 11:15 am. Any parent who can't pick up at 11:15, the campus staff will supervise students. Additionally, any student who needs to stay to wait on transportation will receive lunch. Staff will remain on campus today in the portion of the building with working ventilation. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Our priority is our students and staff.
UPDATE: The all clear has been given and students are returning to class. Some classes may be relocated within MHS. We will continue to monitor and provide additional information as needed.
UPDATE: The MFD expects an all clear to be given in 30 minutes. At that time the campus will resume classes as scheduled. We will continue to provide updates as they become available.
Midlothian High School has evacuated the campus due to a fire in the upstairs science lab. The Midlothian Fire Department isolated the fire to a trash can. Students and staff are safe and are waiting for the all clear. We will update as soon as more information is available.

The MISD board set a Public Hearing date for the 2017-18 Tax Rate. The meeting is scheduled for June 26th at 5:30pm in the board room.
