Texas Association of Fairs & Events (TAF&E) presented the Midland County Horseshoe Arena, numerous awards for marketing excellence. The awards were given for multiple Horseshoe promotions, including but not limited to "Movies on the Terrace" Thursday's in June Event Series, Midland County Fair, and the Professional Armed Forces Rodeo Association World Finals Event.
Midland County’s Premier Event Facility, The Horseshoe Arena has hosted over 1000 Events since opening March 2006….and we continue to be the one Venue, that does it all! The venue has played host to Championship rodeos, equestrian competitions, concerts, sporting events, trade shows, conventions and wedding receptions. The complex is also home to the annual Midland County Fair. Held the 4th weekend in August and the Professional Armed Forces Rodeo Association World Finals, held annually in November.
Visitors to the complex are greeted by the world’s largest horseshoe. The sculpture serves as a tribute to Midland County’s ranching heritage. The versatility of the 100+ acre complex is easily adaptable to suit the multi-purpose event industry. Indoor or outdoor, formal dinner or stock show, 30 people to 6,000+, the fit is right at the Horseshoe.

This Permian Basin Water in Energy Conference event connects professionals, policymakers, and academics in the energy industry.
