Just a post to remind you of my(Hilda) new schedule. 🧘🏻‍♀️Tuesday - Hatha with flow at 9:00am & 5:30pm 🧘🏻‍♀️Thursday - Hatha with flow at 9:00am & 7:00pm. Intro to yoga at 5:30pm 🧘🏻‍♀️ Saturday - Intro to yoga at 9:00am ✨Beginning mid April, I will be adding 1-2 Yin yoga classes per week. Either by replacing one of the intro classes with Yin as well as adding another Yin OR by adding two Yin yoga classes to the existing schedule. WHAT IS YIN YOGA? Yin yoga is an excellent practice for everyone looking to gain flexibility. Yin yoga is a slow practice in which props are often used to support passive poses which are often held for long periods of time. Mostly focusing on the lower body(hips, pelvis, groin, lower back). It targets the deepest tissues of the body, our connective tissues — ligaments, joints, bones, and the deep fascia networks of the body — rather than the muscles. Yin Yoga requires the muscles to relax around the connective tissue in order to get a stretch. A few benefits of yin yoga? * Calms and balances the mind and body * Reduces stress and anxiety * Increases circulation * Improves flexibility * Releases fascia and improves joint mobility * Balances the internal organs I hope to see you on the mat soon. 🙏🏻 #namaste #fearlessyogacali

Attention parents of Fearless yogi kiddos! We will be completely changing the kids yoga Program beginning next week. If your child is currently signed up, you should have a voicemail from Hilda from this past Friday. Classes will continue as usual this week with a fun party at Thursday’s class(4pm) so please join us with your kiddos at fearless this week as we transition out our weekly classes and welcome summer kids yoga programs instead. This time we are working on inversions and arm balances such as shoulder stand, forearm stand, supported headstand, tripod headstand, tripod headstand to crow and more!
