One of our members shared how her large fitness center didn't motivate her to workout. The classes she liked were only offered a handful of times during the week, and when she went to the open gym area, she didn't always know what to do and found herself doing the same thing over and over. She didn't have a coach invested in her goals and progress. If that sounds familiar, and you haven't tried Orangetheory Fitness, maybe it's what you need to get moving like Katharine in this article. Your first workout is always complimentary - our supportive coaches & staff are excited to share the OTF experience! #otfmequon #OrangeEffect #allagesallabilities #workoutgoals #summerfitness #juststart #whywaitanylonger

If you don't want to take our word for it, here's a few more reasons why we row. It's a great before, during or after workout. It makes you all around stronger & a better athlete. And at OTF, you don't have to worry about setting a timer. Our coaches have that covered & will keep you strong with form cues. Form is key on the rower . It's not arms, arms, arms as we all know...say it with us "Legs, core, arms. Arms, core, legs." #otfmequon #rowing #crosstraining

We ❤️ students at #otfmequon! It's been a fun summer with our youngest oranges. We're lucky you've made OTF your spot to be active or stay conditioned for high school & college sports. A few students even made our leaderboards! Over the next few weeks, we will be saying goodbye to our college friends going back to school. We'll miss you! Have fun & #KeepBurning! 🍊🍊🍊

“When we add strength...almost every health outcome improves.” This is why we make time for the studio even when the summer weather is beautiful. And this is why Orangetheory Fitness & our coaches work to make strength training possible for all ages & all abilities. (And don't forget about that resistance on the rower!) #otfmequon #strongereveryday #dontletstrengthtrainingtakesummervacation

Start on the treadmill or rower? That IS arguably the most common question among our members. Listen up! Coaches Amy & Brynn shared today that while there are many studies that conclude it’s best to perform cardio before resistance training, there are equally as many studies that conclude the opposite. The answer lies with YOU & your individual goals! There is no one-size-fits-all answer, which is why that’s never our approach. If your goal is to lose weight, become leaner or improve overall strength, research points to resistance training first. If your goal is endurance performance (i.e.-improving race time) research leans toward cardio first. To develop a well-balanced body focused on endurance, strength & power, we encourage mixing it up. Your body benefits when you keep it guessing, and it’s always good to step out of your comfort zone. (That's another reason our workouts are never duplicated.) At your next workout, start by getting uncomfortable & start somewhere new! #otfmequon #workoutgoals #strongereverday #OrangeEffect #sciencebackedworkout #challengeequalschange #KeepBurning

We love this scene from another studio during Peak Week. If you read the comments on the original post, many people said "That's so OTF." And that's the truth. OTF is more than simply going to a workout. Starting with a supportive coach who is invested in you & your goals, relationships are formed. We're a team. A squad. A tribe. And we support each and every one of us until the end. #otfmequon #otffamily #peakperformanceweek #strongereveryday #OrangetheoryNation

Everyone gets the same 24 hours. It's not always easy to dedicate part of that time to fitness, especially when you're a mom in the summertime. But when you've got a goal, you make it work. Many congratulations to Anne for reaching workout 💯. Send her a big 🙌🙌. It's a busy summer, but 🍊 is part of her routine. We're so proud of you! #KeepBurning to 250! #otfmequon #otfproud #otffamily
