On April 05, McLoughlin hosted the district spelling bee and 1st place was awarded to McLoughlin student Janessa Scheuneman. Congratulations Janessa and good job to all of the participants.

The C-Span Bus visited McLoughlin today as part of it's "50 Capitals Tour". Selected students were able to board the bus, hear the story behind the tour and learn about the resources available to them through www.c-span.org. How cool is that?

Student of Distinction Breakfast: Today our January and February Students of the Month were honored at our STUDENTS OF DISTICTION BREAKFAST. Mrs. White hosted this event and each student was asked to invite their parents, family members and one staff member to join him/her at the table. This year we are privileged to have the Mayor of the City of Medford, Dr. Gary Wheeler, in attendance to honor our students with a certificate and T-shirt from the city. This event is a wonderful way of recognizing our students and get to know them and their families on a more personal level.
