If you're like me you've always been a tad clueless about all the products available for your skin. The skin is your largest organ and deserves to be healthy like the rest of you. I've recently changed a few things thanks to new knowledge; I'd like to offer the same to all of you!!! Join Dermatologist Dr. Sarah Jensen and Esthetician Meghan Wilson for this FREE 90 minute seminar on skin health. The weather is changing and it's the perfect time to learn about what you should and shouldn't be doing for yourself. Topics include general skin care, sports medicine for skin, common conditions and fixes, cosmetics and a Q&A opportunity. There will also be some free samples, a raffle for a basket of Epionce products, and a raffle for personal training. In addition, all attendees will receive 15% off any sessions or classes purchased that day!!!

I hate running... but the good thing out of my run today is this: Too many people stress the numbers on the scale. In addition, too many people wait until a new year starts to try a new program. So Lotus Fit would like to offer 10% off all personal training packages to those who would like to turn in their scales to me and commit to movement. This is for first time clients only... HOWEVER, to all current clients, you will also receive the 10% if you are mentioned as their referral source. You'd think this would be it but it's not!!! I will also give away a package of 5 sessions for FREEEEE to the person who not only turns in their scale but also writes me a short page on their motivation to get healthy. Instead of stepping on the scale, get moving and step into Lotus Fit!! START the new year as a new you. #empower #getoffthescale

Look what I pulled out of the bin today!!!!! It's been months since I've hit pads and years since I've done it regularly. Not having Muay Thai in my life is just not natural. Today I felt destroyed and empowered, the way only Muay Thai can make me feel. Thank you, @muaythai_luke. Fridays might be my new favorite day of the week. Maybe next time I'll take a pic of me instead of my sweaty clothes @bbysumo did you give me these shorts??? I felt your presence! 💪🏻🔥🥊 #muaythai #kickboxing #thereturn #femaleathlete #passion #titleboxing #tigermuaythai #padwork

I probably did it backwards, Deep Stretch and then Power Yoga, but dammit it was worth it. I got centered with Victoria to have my ass handed to me by Danielle. Ladies, it was a pleasure to be guided by you both today. I'm humbly grateful ❤️

World, meet Izzy. This girl, now 15, is a rockstar. As a sophomore she is already the fastest on Visitation's cross country team. Today she raced at Forest Park and finished her 5k in a little over 22 minutes. Having worked with her on her off seasons over the past 1 1/2 years I couldn't be more proud of her growth and accomplishments. Congrats, Izzy! I have no doubts that as a senior you will smoke the competition. #highschoolathlete #sports #crosscountry #varsity #visitationacademy #running #betteryouthanme #proudtrainer #ididntmeantowearred @ Aviation Field, Forest Park

What a Monday!!! First order of business: If you haven't taken a silent moment today to honor the victims and heroes of 9/11 please do so. It will forever remain a huge scar in our nation's history. As we came together to mend whatever could be from that tragedy we are now faced with another opportunity to come together... Hurricane relief efforts are never too small and I sincerely hope you have done something to help those in need. We are one people and deserve each other's love and support, especially in times like these. Lotus Fit would like to host a DONATION BASED class this upcoming Saturday @ 8am. The class will be 75 minutes total: 30 minutes of cross-training followed by 15 min of core focus and 30 minutes of stretch yoga. You may come to some of it or all of it. Donate what you can as all of the proceeds will go to the relief effort. ❤️💙💚💛🧡💜 Thank you

Fear is a big driving force when it comes to things we do or don't do. Although fear is real don't let fear be the reason you don't try something new or even start yourself on a path that could lead to a better and healthier life. As little as it may be I stepped out today. Always involved in sports I've never tried dancing. Recently having started ballet lessons with the beautiful Amy Herchenroether, I also decided to take a hip hop class today. I was nervous and sweating knowing I'd make an ass of myself in front of people... but I went... and I had such great time!! I am in no way as coordinated as I thought, I need some work with picking up choreography, and I'm sure my facial expressions weren't very "hip hop" but dammit I did it. And I'll do it again. Change is difficult and it's harder when you're afraid to take that first step. Trust me when I say the first step is the hardest, unless you're in a hip hop or ballet class. Thank you to Madison Dewitt from Consuming Kinetics Dance Company and Fabletics for truly making this humbling experience fun. Oh and thanks to Susie, my bestie who will do just about anything if we're together. I am thankful to have shared this with you. 💃🏻🕺🏻😂❤️
