Description
The TN Soybean Festival is an award winning festival celebrating it's 23 year honoring the soybean and soybean farmers. The award winning Tennessee Soybean Festival in Martin, Tennessee, is a 23 year tradition celebrating the soybean and soybean farmers of Tennessee and the heartland. Beginning the first week of September, the festival commemorates the deep, historical impact of the soybean crop on the economy of Tennessee and the City of Martin. Each year the festival draws a large crowd of 35-40,000 attendees from both in and out of the state.

We had such good response to our Children's Photography contest at last year's festival that we are expanding the contest to have categories for photography & art! Both contests are open to students who attend a Martin school or live in Martin (grades K-12). Prizes will be award to top 4 winners in each age category.

We are excited to have a new event this year at the TN Soybean Festival, The Makers Faire. Do you… Invent a new technology or build robots for fun? Leatherwork? Woodwork? Metal smith? Paint, draw or sculpt? Make pottery? Sew or quilt? Make soap or bath and body products? If so, then this Faire is for you! The Makers Faire is a family event that seeks to support the local makers. Proceeds will assist in starting and developing a very exciting non-profit in Martin called, The Artists’ Guild of Martin.
