Today is our Falcon Day (Registration) in our cafeteria. Today we will be available until 3 pm. At Falcon Day you will receive your schedule, get your student ID, sign up for First Quarter Athletics, turn in health paper work, pay for fees (ID, sports, yearbook), and be able to have questions answered by our staff. If you are unable to come today we are available on Wednesday from 10 - 7.

Thank you to all of the 8th grade WEB leaders who helped introduce MMS to our new 7th graders! You all did an amazing job! Thank you also to Mr. Johnson, Mrs. Jungbluth, and Mrs. Reinhardt for organizing the event!

We wanted to clarify the start and end times for tomorrow's WEB orientation for our incoming seventh graders. We understand that parents were provided varying start times for tomorrow's orientation. The official program for our orientation will begin at 9:00 AM in the auditorium. Students can be dropped off at MMS from 8:30 to 8:45AM by parents. Our buses will be dropping students off at approximately 8:30AM. Parents are encouraged and welcomed to come back to the MMS auditorium at 5:30 PM tomorrow evening for our admin team's presentation to our Falcon Families. Families are encouraged to stay for the open house portion of WEB from 6:00 to 7:00 PM so students can walk the campus with their families. We look forward to seeing your student tomorrow and are excited to help them as they have their first experiences on our campus. Thank you :)

With the upcoming school year there have been a number of requests for supply lists. Supply lists vary based on the team that the student will be on. There are some commonalities across the teams for those who wish to start the back-to-school shopping. Pencils (either #2 or mechanical), erasers, pens (blue/black/red), notebook paper, comp books (most teams request 2), highlighters, colored pencils, dry erase markers. Most teams also request students to have a flash drive (2GB) and a pair of headphones (inexpensive - they will be used for Chromebooks). Students will receive their schedules and supply lists for their teams next week for Falcon Days. See you then!

Dear Falcon Families, All parents of incoming 7th graders are encouraged to attend our W.E.B. Open House, July 27th from 5:30 pm to 8 pm. Administration will be on campus to provide parents with more information about Marana Middle and answer any questions that you may have. In addition, parents will be provided with a guided tour by our fantastic W.E.B. Leaders and will have the opportunity to meet some of our MMS Staff. We are excited to see you there! Thank you!

Returning and Future Falcons - the school year is right around the corner! We hope that you are excited for the 2017-2018 school year! We wanted to remind everyone that we are in the process of finalizing all class schedules (a special shout out to Carol and our counseling department for their tireless work this summer in getting schedules done). These class schedules will be available for our Falcon Days! Falcon Days will be held on August 1st and 2nd. Students will receive their schedules at that time (as well as be able to sign up for sports, receive a locker, obtain their school ID, update health documents, and pay for a yearbook). We look forward to seeing you then!
