Attention steer exhibitors: Tags for steers available at Sr fair office until closing on 12/14. Tagging is 12/16 from 8-11 am at fairgrounds. Must fill out self tagging form (extension website) and have that and pictures turned in by end of tagging or postmarked by 12/16.

The fair office will be closed on Friday, November 10th for the observance of Veterans Day.

What would everyone think about raising the general admission into the fairgrounds from $5 to $7 and then made the events at the grandstand free? Kids 48” and under would still be free. Pit passes would still cost an additional amount.

Wanting your input: It will soon be time for our annual gun raffle. Would you purchase a $10 ticket for the chance to win 10+ guns or would you rather purchase a $20 ticket for a chance at a side x side UTV and a few guns or other prizes?

The annual meeting of the Agricultural Society will be held tonight at 7pm in the Youth Hall Cafeteria. Refreshments will be provided.

Joe Diffie and our 2017 Richland County Fair Court

It's the final day for the 2017 Richland County Fair. Fair admission is just $5, kids 48 inches and under are free. Tonight's grandstand event is the demolition derby at 5pm. Grandstand admission is $8, kids 48 inches and under are free. Pit passes are $13. The Amusement rides are up and running and and don't miss the free Timberworks Lumberjack shows at 2:00, 4:30 and 7:30 today.

Tonight's tractor pull has been cancelled. We had 2 showers this afternoon and more rain on the way.

Grandstand entertainment for Thursday night is the A Bar Rodeo Bulls and Barrels. $5 admission, kids 48" and under are free. Show starts at 7pm so come early and gets some great fair food.
