The Festival at Central City Park, the heart and hub of the Cherry Blossom Capital of the World, features 10 days of magnificent midway rides, exciting exhibits, spectacular shows, and fantastic food. You’re sure to make lifelong memories when you enjoy $400,000 worth of free entertainment with a $5 admission and children under 10 are free. A revamped nightly concert series will feature regional and national cover bands of all your favorite stars and decades. Guests can enjoy free parking and free shuttle rides provided by the Macon Transit Authority at designated locations. A fireworks finale will close out the Pinkest Party on Earth at the conclusion of the Festival, commemorating our rooted appreciation for our community and our Yoshino Cherry Trees! They will also receive discounted pay-one-price unlimited midway rides for $10 with ID. Gate Specials: EVERYDAY! Presented by Drew Exposition Supported by 13WMAZ, The Telegraph, and Cumulus Friday, March 16: $20-dollar pay-one-price unlimited midway rides, with $5 gate admission. For both weekends, March 17-18 and March 24-25: $25-dollar pay-one-price unlimited midway rides (*on Saturday, March 17 and 24, must be purchased by 3:00pm) with $5 gate admission. Monday-Friday, March 19-23: $20-dollar pay-one-price unlimited midway rides, with $5 gate admission. The pay-one-price unlimited midway rides specials may only be purchased at the midway. Grab a lawn chair and come celebrate the final day of our 36th Cherry Blossom Festival with the return of our balloon glow! Join us for an afternoon of family fun with live music featuring Michelle Marshall as well as tethered hot air balloon rides. The hot air balloon rides will be $10.00 per ride. There will be vending on site or you can bring a cooler for snacks and soft drinks. The Fireworks Finale will move to the Festival at Central City Park at 10 pm so that you can enjoy both! The Cherry Blossom Festival Parade is one of the Festival’s premier events. Fantastic floats, marching bands, military units, costumed performers, international dignitaries, and more combine to transform an already beautiful historic downtown into a dazzling showpiece. Performers and entertainers dazzle audiences of all ages, so bring your family and experience the magnificent Cherry Blossom Festival Parade. FREE!! The parade is a rain or shine event and will only be cancelled in the event of lightning present. In partnership with Middle Georgia State University’s School of Aviation, thousands of eggs filled with toys and candy will be dropping from the sky in a helicopter! Kids of all ages are encouraged to attend and enjoy inflatable bouncy houses, games, and food vendors on site. FREE!
Gourmet food trucks from around the South featuring the latest trends in culinary culture gather on the last weekend of the Festival to provide Macon with a taste of the food truck mania sweeping the country. Purchase delicious food while enjoying music and on-site beer sales! FREE! Food trucks will set up shop on Third Street between Cherry Street and Mulberry Street.
Make plans to attend this hilarious event hosted by Macon’s Mark Ballard. The event features a roast/toast of the Cherry Blossom Festival Founder, Carolyn Crayton! Dinner & laughter will be served all night. Tickets are $40 per person.
