We started Gear West 23+ years ago because of our passion for cross country skiing, triathlons and running. Since then, we have grown into one of Minnesota's premier independently owned specialty sports businesses. Our 15000 square foot main store, Gear West Cross Country Ski and Run, offers the largest selection of cross country skis and equipment in the United States, as well as over 2100 models of run, walk, trail and track shoes. We also display apparel and accessories from over thirty manufacturers. Our second location, Gear West Adrenaline, carries casual clothing, alpine and snowboarding equipment, soccer and lacrosse gear, and skateboards. We previously carried triathlon equipment and bicycles, but this proved to be so successful that it broke off to become its own business, Gear West Bike & Tri, owned by a previous Gear West employee. Each of these departments was born from our passion for sport and for ensuring the highest quality FIT and SERVICE we can possibly provide to all who walk through our doors.
