Agility Underground offers agility classes for all ages and levels of trainers and dogs.  Our goal is to help you reach your goals whether it be to have fun and exercise with your dog, or to become a top competitor.   Our indoor facility is a 64 x 84' Cover-All building with soccer turf.  The lighting is superb, with diffuse non-glare reflective light during the day from the building cover, and mercury lights that also reflect, so there are no shadows at night. The building has overhead radiant heat. It is cooled with fans.

Our outdoor area encompasses 90 x 120' of sand, covered with mulch. This surface gives nicely to pressure as dogs land on it, yet is firm enough to give support for running and turning.

We had a wonderful and educational time at the zoo. Our clicker class spent time with Jim Nemet, head trainer, discussing training techniques and skills. We were grateful for his time, humor and expertise. We also spent quality time with Alisa Sandor, lead keeper and keeper of the black rhinos. We were particularly interested in her 'crate training' method to prepare her rhinos that are leaving for Mexico and Oregon to have the least stressful trips they can. The rhinos love their 'crates' and are comfortable with the sounds of highways and gas stations and planes. She has an ipad playing noises expected and unexpected and is reinforcing relaxed behavior. It was a treat to see the love and care these very intelligent rhinos get. They are truly loved and appreciated. They are used to whistles (that we can't hear) as bridges instead of clickers, and are reinforced with lots of their favorite fruits and veggies. They have behaviors for all of their common medical procedures and look forward to medical visits because of the superb and skillful positive reinforcement they receive. This was an exciting and delightful perk to the clicker class. Thank you everyone.

New Years Day sunrise hike at Whipp's Ledges with Diana Biber/Libby and Debbie Williams/Nala. Here we are bushwhacking because someone wasn't paying attention the the trail. I do love bushwhacking and we had adventures and saw spring plants growing to a height normally seen in late May. An energetic and prophetic start to 2016.
