Today (4/28) we celebrated 🌲Arbor Day 🌲by planting a tree with 4th grade students from the LC Elementary School. Special thanks to Van Zeeland Nursery for donating the beautiful tree, and for Robin who did a great job speaking with the students about all the benefits of trees. Students each took home a small tree sapling to plant at their house (thanks Little Chute McDonald's for donating the tree cups). 🌟

Also, thanks to Jason and the WBAY TV-2 team for providing coverage. Staff will continue working on this effort and once the results from the open house are compiled, they will be incorporated into a cohesive plan that will be worked on by the Village Board this summer.
