Excerpt from Joyce Kilmer's "Dulce et decorum est." Joyce was a writer and poet, journalist, literary critic, lecturer, and editor. He was a father of 5. He was killed by a sniper's bullet in the Second Battle of the Marne in 1918. Joyce was 31. We take today to remember. We are grateful for all who served and made the ultimate sacrifice.

🔥 “Man, it’s a hot one. Like seven inches from the midday sun.”🔥 Our friends over at @hurrdat heard the call and swooped in. They all pitched in and loaded up the truck with more than 1000 bottles of water for our sack lunches. We make 120 of them a day. Water goes quick, especially during weeks like this. THANK YOU, Hurrdat! ❤️
Soooo..... You guys killed it! 1,065 towels donated for Lincoln’s homeless and most in-need. Thank you, @dontpaniclabs for hosting #towelday again this year!
@krista_lynn39 who is Miss Nebraska Jr High 2018, stoped by with her mom to drop off towels, she also got two tries at the dunk bucket and hit the target BOTH TIMES. 🎯 💪🏻 #TowelDay @dontpaniclabs

The first soak of the day! Nice pitch! Just $5 for 3 tries. Not only can you soak J Arthur Wilson, PCM’s Volunteers Services Director, but that 5 bucks goes to buy a towel for a PCM guest. 💦❤️
Haymarket businesses are showing up big for Towel Day! Thanks guys!
