Exciting times at the Library today. If you have been in the library during a good rain, you might notice the amount of plastic buckets around the library. Our roof has many leaks, but today marks the beginning of a new roof!!! We are super excited. It means that parking might be a bit of a challenge on occasion for the next two weeks, but this won't affect anything we are doing inside.

Free Summer Lunches for kids starts on Monday! Open to all kids ages 1-18, no identification or registration required. Just come to the basement of the library between 11:30 am-12:30 pm, Mondays - Fridays for a free lunch!

You know what's awesome: The Children's Library is looking awesome! New shelves coming in. New paint. New furniture. You know what's not awesome: We are closed in the children's area again today. Sorry for the inconvenience. After this the big thing is carpeting coming in and more furniture. And be prepared for an awesome Open House when we put the final piece in place.

The children's library is closed today due to unforeseen construction activity. We apologize for the inconvenience. As we build a better children's library there are a lot of things going on all at once. Our goal is to keep it open as much as possible and to have the bulk of the work done before the official start of the Summer Reading Program. As time allows, we will reopen the space. The library is currently seeking donations of fleece (no pieces smaller than 1 yard) to make blankets for the Comfort for Critters charity organization. Our need by date is May 31st.
