There are only three chances left to see "Over the River and Through the Woods" and Randi who plays Caitlyn O'Hare is here to share the final cast moment. "My maternal grandfather, Zadie Sid, valued the mind above all else. We would talk every day on the phone, discussing a variety of topics ranging from politics to school to Barbara Streisand. While we didn’t always agree, I never doubted how much he loved me, or how proud he was of my accomplishments. Every performance, every birthday, every ceremony, I could always pick him out in the crowd, usually in the front row, always with a smile. I have no doubt that my mom and I inherited our affinity for sarcasm from him, or our love of reading; every time I visited his apartment, he would be reading thrillers, books on theology, or the weekly newspaper, and I could always count on him for some verbal repartee. I love and miss my Zadie so much, and I feel so grateful to be a part of something that encompasses what it means to be a family!" We hope you've enjoyed this trip down memory lane as much as we have and make sure you join us for one of the last three performances: Friday, Saturday at 8PM or Sunday at 3:30PM www.newtowneplayers.org for tickets

Its our final weekend of "Over the River and Through the Woods" and we have more heartwarming memories to share from Dave Bayles who plays Nunzio: "My fondest memory is about my Grandmother. Every time we visited I would help her in the kitchen making real egg noodles. We would spend the morning mixing, rolling out and cutting these noodles. Sometimes she made up chicken noodle soup or some other fabulous meal for dinner. After making the noodles we would make a carrot cake, with real peeled carrots. Everything was made from scratch. After everything was made she would let me climb onto her large feather bed for an afternoon nap. Though she has been gone for over 30 years, I can still taste those noodles and cake and remember how soft and comforting that bed was." Join Nunzio, Emma, Frank and Aida as they share their big Italian "famiglia" with you this weekend: Thursday - Saturday at 8PM Sunday at 3:30PM TONIGHT (5/4) ALL TICKETS ARE $10
