We are Yee's Hung Ga Kung Fu Academy, Lansdowne Branch, serving Lansdowne, Philadelphia and Greater Philadelphia/Delaware County areas.  

We are a branch of Yee’s Hung Ga International Kung Fu Association.  We teach a traditional Southern Chinese Kung Fu system called Hung Ga.  Hung Ga (Hung Family) kung fu is rich in tradition and traces its lineage back to the infamous Wong Fei Hung.  It is a 5 Animal, 5 Element fighting system which specializes in rooted stances, internal power, an innumerable arsenal of hand to hand techniques and weapons instruction including Broadsword, Bo Staff, Double Butterfly Swords, Spear, Tiger Fork and Kwan Do.  It is a complete and unmatched system and has been proven to build stronger bodies.

Sifu Sean McKelven, our chief instructor, is a disciple of Sifu Pedro Yee and a fifth generation practitioner of Wong Fei Hung Kung Fu.  Sifu Sean has studied Hung Ga since 1996 both physically and intellectually and incorporates the intricacies of fight skill with elements of martial science.

Our branch is dedicated to introducing Hung Ga to communities, colleges and universities by offering to bring them, Classes, Seminars and Workshop Intensives.  We offer a variety of programs with varying and adjustable time frames and locations.  We also offer specific programs targeting Women's Self Defense, Cardio and Strength Training as well as Long Term Training for those interested in receiving their Jo Gow (Black Belt) certification. We instruct children ages 6-12 and are now offering children's classes 4 times a week.  We also offer private training and small group training.
