The registration for the 2017-2018 Winter Basketball League ends tomorrow, October 20th. A completed roster and team fee must be turned in to the Parks Department Office by 4pm on Friday in order to participate in the season.

Be sure to join us this Saturday, October 21st at the Kirkendall Nature Center in Jackson Morrow Park for our annual Pumpkin Painting from 11am to 4pm! Pumpkins and paint are available, free of charge, while supplies last but you are also welcome to bring your own pumpkin as well!

Today is the last day to turn in a registration form for the Fall Community Garage Sale. Turn in a registration form and space fee into the Parks Department Office by 4pm today (9/21). You must be registered in time to participate as a vendor in the sale tomorrow.

KPRD’s 2017 Fall Garage Sale is this Friday, September 22! If you are wanting to sign up as a vendor. Be sure to get your registration form and fee into the Parks Office by 4pm on Thursday, September 21. Registrations will not be taken on the day of the event. The sale will occur from 9am to 2pm in the Kokomo Beach parking lot.

The 2017 Fall Community Garage Sale is coming up on Friday September 22nd from 9am – 2pm! Be sure to stop in to the Parks Department Office and fill of a registration form to participate as a vendor. Each space is only $5! Registration ends on Thursday September 21 and all registration forms must be taken at the Office.

Kokomo Beach is now closed for the 2017 season. We hope you visit Kokomo’s hottest place to cool down when the facility reopens in 2018!

Pooches at the Pool is this Sunday, August 20 from 5pm to 7pm at Kokomo Beach! Bring your pups for a fun and refreshing dip in the pool! Only $5 per dog.

If you have won passes to Kokomo Beach or to the Pooches at the Pool event and have yet to pick them up, you still have a bit more time to do so. The passes that have been awarded through our Facebook contests are only viable for the 2017 season and the last days of operation for Kokomo Beach are coming up this weekend. To collect your passes, you must come to the Kokomo Parks and Recreation Office located at 1402 W. Deffenbaugh St. in Highland Park and present a photo ID. You have till Friday (8/18) at 4pm to redeem your passes. Passes won through Facebook contests WILL NOT be available for pick up at Kokomo Beach.
