With lower temps and chance of snow and ice on the roadways, we're sharing a few tips for winter driving from AAA! - Avoid driving while you’re fatigued. - Never warm up a vehicle in an enclosed area, such as a garage. - Make certain your tires are properly inflated. - Keep your gas tank at least half full to avoid gas line freeze-up. - If possible, avoid using your parking brake in cold, rainy and snowy weather. - Do not use cruise control when driving on any slippery surface (wet, ice, sand). - Always look and steer where you want to go. - Use your seat belt every time you get into your vehicle. #McCordsCares

Tired of scraping ice off of your whole car every single morning? Here's a way to make your morning hustle a little easier. Prevent ice from forming on side mirrors by covering them the night before with plastic bags! Secure them with rubber bands or clothespins so that no moister can get in. When you remove the bags in the morning, the mirrors will be ice-free!
