Maui Oceanfront Condo Sugar Beach Resort Sugar Beach is a beautiful, six-mile white sand beach on Maalaea Bay, long stretches of which are bordered by a large fresh-water bird sanctuary, Kealia National Wildlife Refuge. Sugar Beach Resort is located by the bird sanctuary. So it’s ocean in front and open land in back. The heated swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, and outdoor showers are all located in full view of the ocean. There are sunbathing areas on the sundeck by the pool and on the grassy lawn between the pool and the beach. There are also outdoor grills and outdoor dining tables. In the evening, grilling and socializing on the lawn by the ocean is a favorite activity at Sugar Beach Resort.

Our non-smoking, one-bedroom condo has a king-sized bed in the bedroom and a comfortable queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room, so it easily sleeps four people. It also has a fully equipped kitchen, so you can cook in or grill by the beach. Since the living room opens to a private lanai, you can take your meals on the lanai overlooking the ocean. Or you can eat at the fold-out table in the living room and still have an incredible view since the condo is all glass on the oceanfront side. And as an end-unit, the condo also has a large window that perfectly frames Haleakala, Maui’s famed volcano.

The bathroom and kitchen were renovated recently, and all the windows are new. Our condo is very well maintained and is professionally cleaned after each guest both because we want our guests to have a pleasant stay and because it’s where we stay when we go to Maui. At our condo, you’ll have everything you need to comfortably enjoy your vacation.

As a resort, there are a number of amenities on the property: a convenience store, Maui Sights & Treasures activities center, and a restaurant and pub called Dina’s Sand Witch. The Sand Witch is great for lunch or a casual dinner, and it’s actually a popular watering hole for the locals, so you don’t even have to drive anywhere to have a fun night out on the town. When you do venture out, Sugar Beach Resort is centrally located for getting around the island. It’s close to golf courses and snorkeling spots. There are numerous restaurants nearby, as well as shops and Hawaiian entertainment. At Sugar Beach Resort, you’ll be perfectly situated to enjoy the tropical paradise that is Maui.
