Last week we posted pictures asking you to Guess Who. How many did you get right?
The From the Heart Auction is this Saturday, February 10th. We have a few seats left. Make sure to call and get your reservation in. The menu will be (if you require a vegetarian dish you must request this prior to the event) Tossed Green Salad with Macaroni Shrimp Main Entrée Prime Rib with Ajus and Horseradish Sauce Red parsley potatoes and glazed carrots Vegetarian Entrée Vegetarian Lasagna Red parsley potatoes and glazed carrots Dessert Assorted Gourmet Cupcake Menu subject to change
Today was Parent Grandparent Day! CORE led the students, faculty, parents, grandparents, other family members and friends in a Mass to celebrate "The Presentation of the Lord." Following Mass all guests were able to visit the classrooms and to see what the students have been working on.
Look who had pizza and soda today as a reward for being top selling class for week 3. Great Job 8th grade!
Churros and Chocolate Milk was the party choice of the Kindergarten class. they were the top selling class for week 2 of the Opportunity Drawing. Thank you Mr. Moreno, LA Nueva Campos for the yummy churros.
We were so blessed to have Sr. Therese from the Carmelite, Fr. Yarce and Deacon Doug of St. Francis Xavier, Deacon Sunday from St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Fr. Lukasz and Michelle ECHO Pastoral Assistant from the Newman Center/St. Catherine's of Sienna and skype with Mr. Norm Allred, from Rome as he studys to become a priest.
8th grade had a great day yesterday at JA Finance Park! Thanks so much to our awesome chaperones for helping us!
Celebrate Vocations - Sr. Therese from the Carmelite Monastery in Holliday, Fr. Yarce pastor of St. Francis Xavier, Deacon Sunday co-director of Vocations for the Diocese and Deacon at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Fr. Lukasz, one of the Dominican priest from the Newman Center/St. Catherine's of Sienna will be visiting classrooms to share their story of how they heard God’s call to the ministry they are doing.
