Please be in prayer for Don & Gail Lott's son. He was in a very serious car accident this afternoon.

Two families in our church are in need of our prayers and God's comfort. Christian Sympathy is extended to the family and friends of Mrs. Frankie Eason. Funeral services for Mrs. Eason will be Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church, Jesup. Visitation will be held for 1 hour prior also at Calvary Baptist. Christian Sympathy is also extended to Lisa Ring and family in the death of her father, Mr. Vernon Cooper. Funeral Services for Mr. Cooper will be Monday, September 18, 2017 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church, Jesup. Visitation will be for 1 hour prior also at First Baptist.

Calvary Baptist Church will be having Services tonight. This includes: Choir Practice at 6 pm Awana at 6:15 pm Youth at 6:30 pm Adult Bible Study at 7 pm No Family Night Supper tonight. Awana will be modified. Attendance will not be counted. Friend Night will be extended till next Wednesday. Have a Blessed Day

Irma has swept across the southeast and created a lot of interruptions and caused much damage and mayhem. However, we know that our God is faithful! We encourage you to join us tonight at Calvary for a time of worship. Though we will NOT have our Wednesday night supper, we are having choir practice at 6:00, AWANA at 6:15, Youth at 6:30; and Adult Prayer and Bible Study at 7:00. Join us if you can so that we can encourage one another and pray for one another.

Due to the current projected path & intensity of Hurricane Irma we have decided to cancel all services & activities & office hours at Calvary Friday, September 8th - Tuesday, September 12th. Please share this status and let your fellow church members who may not have email or Facebook know about these closings. Be in prayer for our community and all those affected by this storm. We will update you on the status of our church building and services next week as soon as we are able to.

We would like to express our deepest sympathy to Kenny Poppell and family in the death of his mother, Mrs. Vivian Poppell. Funeral Services for Mrs. Poppell will be held at Red Hill Baptist Church, Jesup, GA on Saturday, August 19th at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be from 10 - 11, also at Red Hill Baptist Church. Thank you for your faithful prayers forthe needs of our church family.

Christian Sympathy is extended to the family of Mrs. Lois Crosby who went to her heavenly home earlier today (8/9). Funeral Services for Mrs. Crosby will be held on Friday, August 11th @ 2:00 PM here at Calvary. Visitation will be Thursday, August 10th from 5-7:00 PM at Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home. Your continued prayers for her family and friends are appreciated.

Calvary Family, Please be in prayer for Mrs. Lois Crosby. She has fallen and has a brain bleed. Mrs. Lois is in serious condition in St. Joseph hospital in Savannah. Prayer for her family is also needed at this time.
