Easter Egg Hunts March 24, 2018 Richlands Steed Park, 12 p.m. Onslow Pines Park, 3 p.m. Deppe Park, 6:30 p.m.- Flashlight Hunt at 7:30 p.m. has been cancelled. All age groups will now hunt at 6:30 p.m. Join Onslow County Parks and Recreation for three hunts around the county. Age categories: 2 & under, 3-5 years old, 6-8 years old, and 9-12 years old. Bring a camera for photos with the Easter Bunny and don’t forget your basket for egg gathering. Event is FREE and is open to the public.

Summer Day Camp Registration OPENS APRIL 1, 2018 Session 1: June 18 – July 13 Session 2: July 16 – August 10 Online registration opens April 1 Onslow Parks and Recreation Administrative Office April 2 Onslow County Parks and Recreation is excited to offer its 2018 Summer Day Camp Program for children six to twelve. Participants will have five sites to choose from: Dixon Middle School, Hunters Creek Middle School, Southwest Middle School, Summersill Elementary School, and Swansboro Middle School. There are two four-week sessions. Each session is $140 per child and $130 for each additional child (after the first). Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Each camp can accommodate 50 campers per session. Some field trips may require an additional fee, an average of $20 per week per participant. Online registration begins April 1 and onsite registration begins April 2 at Onslow Pines Park Administrative Office. Online registration is strongly encouraged.
