Celebrate America's birthday with fireworks! The City of Jacksonville Beach presents a 4th of July fireworks display to celebrate Independence Day. The fireworks will begin at 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4th. This is a large event. Pedestrian and vehicle traffic is expected to be heavy. The Jacksonville Beach Police Department has provided information to aid in the safety and enjoyment of everyone. 71st Annual Opening of the Beaches Parade When: Sunday, April 30, 2017 Time: Parade begins at 2:00 p.m. A Beaches tradition! This is a great, family-friendly event. Come pick your favorite viewing spot and please remember to bring the sunscreen. The parade begins at 4th Avenue North and 2nd Street. It continues north to 11th Avenue North, turning east on 11th Avenue North to 1st Street North. The parade turns south onto 1st Street North and continues south to Beach Boulevard.
