UPDATE: TUESDAY, MAY 2 - 11:00A.M. On track inspection yesterday, due to the extensive flooding, we found a badly damaged large section of track in a flooded low lying curve area. There are several other places that are under water and will need to be inspected and we expect will need repairs before we can run again. It is likely we will have to hire an outside contractor to do the repairs due to the extent of the damage. We will probably be down at least 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the schedule of who we get to do the work. We will keep you up-to-date on progress and details about scheduling as we move forward. Activities scheduled at our Whistle Stop Depot are still on schedule such as the Blue Grass Jam Session this Saturday evening.
