This is a unique 5K cross country style run 650' below the Earth's surface in an active salt mine. Explore areas of the mine you won't see on a tour, as you race around underground. Each participant will receive a one of a kind t-shirt and bib number. The first 350 registered are guaranteed a medal! Heats are limited to the first 30 participates to sign up. This is not a timed race, but you will have the opportunity to time yourself by using clocks at the start and finish. Children 8 and older are welcome to run! Arrive at Strataca for check in 15 minutes prior to your heat. This race is a fundraiser for Strataca, The Kansas Underground Salt Museum. Processing fees and taxes applied to purchase.
