**this email was sent out march 31 2019. For anyone who didnt receive it.* Dear Hornet Nation, I am excited to inform you of a new system that will be in place beginning Monday, April 8, 2019. Safety will always be one of our top priorities for our campus. We are taking additional measures to ensure the safety of all students and staff at HHS. If you have visited our school recently, you may have noticed that our main entrance doors now have a new security system on them. Beginning April 8th, all of our doors will be locked starting at 7:55 a.m. Every visitor will need to have their ID in order to be "buzzed" into the school by our front office personnel, regardless if you have used your ID with us on previous visits. You will buzz the main entrance door, the staff member will speak with you through the speaker system to identify the reason for your visit, and then we will be able to assist you at that time. I look forward to the utilization of this additional safety feature for our campus. If you have any questions or need further information, please contact the front office at 936-435-6100. Sincerely, Bill Roberts Principal
