The Work-Shop was founded with the intention of creating a beautiful, comfortable space where people can come together to share thoughts and ideas, learn new things, express their creativity and connect with others.  The Work-Shop offers programs in art and creativity, spiritual inquiry, holistic health and wellness, and yoga.  Sometimes being open to something new encourages us to discover what has actually always been there.

ABOUT THERESA BANKS ~ DEV ATMA KAUR Theresa Banks began her yoga practice in 2003 on Long Island, New York. Her travels have brought her to study with a variety of Yoga Teachers. With a love for the healing arts, Theresa was guided to become an Integrated Energy Therapy Master Instructor as well as being certified in Reiki I and II. This combination has rounded and deepened her learning experience. Theresa is a 500 hour graduate of the Yoga Teacher Training Institute in Queens, NY, a certified YogaKids Teacher and holds an International KRI certification in Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. Prenatal Yoga Series with Nina Yousefzadeh

Prenatal Yoga uses postures, breathing, and meditation to help ease pregnancy, delivery, and the after effects of birth. Over the course of 6 weeks, Prenatal Yoga Instructor Nina Yousefzadeh will lead you through classes that will help create strength, focus, flexibility and awareness through a gentle practice designed especially for the pregnant woman's needs. In addition, each week she will also cover a topic surrounding changes in the pregnant body, child birth, and beyond. Class size is limited as to provide the opportunity for more individual attention. Pre-registration is recommended. Attend the full series or just drop in for a class! ABOUT NINA: Nina is a RYT 500 yoga instructor and certified in prenatal yoga. She received her first 200 hour yoga teacher training in India from a guru specializing in Hatha Yoga. It was during this training that she first learned the true meaning of yoga beyond the poses and the Asana practice. She learned of its connection to breath, energy, mindfulness and its positive impact in life and relationships off the mat. Nina later completed another 200 hour teacher training in Vinyasa Yoga and 100 hour in Yoga Therapeutics both from PURE YOGA in NYC. She has since received additional training with Yoga Love Project in Huntington, and Prenatal Yoga Training from the Prenatal Yoga Center, in New York, NY. Classes meet: 5/23, 5/30, 6/6, 6/13, 6/20, 6/27 INVESTMENT: $30/class or $160 (non-refundable) for the series.
