Our Guerrillas are killing it inside and outside of the academy! Four of our students have recently been honored as Student of the Month at their elementary schools! Congratulations to Xander, Samuel, Tristen, Ashton, and Eli. Samuel and Tristen were also honored with Sportsmanship Awards. Your Guerrilla Family is so proud of you guys! Keep up the great work!

MacDonell Children's Services is a residential home for children whose circumstances leave them in need of a safe, loving and nurturing environment. While in their care, children can count on being physically secure, fed in mind, body and spirit, and empowered with the hope and optimism needed by everyone to move forward into successful adulthood. It was an honor to raise money for such a worthy cause through our MacDonell Children’s Services Benefit Seminar. Thank you to all of the participants. You guys raised over $400! We are humbled by your graciousness.

While Jiu-Jitsu itself is a competitive activity, tournament competition offers a whole new level of challenges that can build a child's competitive spirit, confidence, respect for others, and sportsmanship. Win or lose, our kid’s Jiu-Jitsu is about healthy competition and respect. Congratulations to all of our competitors, and thank you to all our parents who helped create this challenging and supportive environment. We are so proud of each and everyone of you!

Today is a big day for our academy! We have our In House Tournament at 9am and our MacDonell Children’s Services Benefit Seminar at 1pm. We look forward to having mats full of kids sharing a healthy dose of competition and adults coming together to help a good cause.

We missed them, but it looks like our Guerrillas enjoyed their snow day!

We regret to inform you that the academy will be closed this afternoon (12/8) due to the weather. However, we will be open tomorrow for the In House Tournament at 9am and the MacDonell Children’s Services Benefit Seminar at 1pm. More details for each event can be found in the “Event” section of our page. We hope to see everyone tomorrow. Saturday will be a lot of healthy competition, fun, and learning while helping a really great cause.

It is the Thursday we all patiently wait for! Jeff Henderson will be at the academy teaching us his magical takedown ways! Leave those Gis at home and be ready to hit the mats! His kids class starts at 5:45, and his adults class starts at 7.

Don’t forget about this awesome seminar this weekend! Learn some techniques and help an important cause all at the same time. We hope to see all you guys there.
