Dear Neighbors, We are proud to announce, Mr. James Coburn, as our newest member of the Board of Directors, effective February 16, 2016. Our Board of Directors now constitutes a complete board with 5 members. We look forward to a great 2017. We continue to have a problem with parking in the community. In order to keep our community safe and our property values up it is in all our best interests to keep our residents feeling secure and our community looking its best. Blocking the streets creates hazardous conditions which affects the safety of us all. Police and emergency vehicles must have access at all times. The emergency could be yours! Parking on the grass makes our lawns look unappealing. This affects our community’s overall curb appeal which in turn affects our property values. Cost incurred to replace dead grass and broken sprinkler heads must come from our association dues. In an effort to rectify these problems we are implementing several changes. Effective March 1, 2017, the Board of directors along with Management and Security will strictly enforce the attached rules. In order to avoid any cost and unpleasantness please review and adhere to these parking regulations. We ask that you share these rules with your neighbors in an effort to help rectify the parking issues we are currently facing. Our security officers will no longer be placing warning notices on vehicles. Vehicles found in violation of the parking regulations will be towed without further warning at the owner’s expense. The Board is also currently working on parking signage within the mail kiosk areas, common areas and visitor spaces. Additionally, there have been concerns about guest cars being towed when there are special events and/or gatherings, such as birthday parties and/or family gatherings. In the event that you plan on having multiple guests for a specific date, we ask that you inform management of this event and the expected number of guests. In no way can the public roads be blocked on neither side, nor can guests park on the grass. We are working on a solution and our intent is to continue to make Mandarin Lakes a better place to live. Please, see on this LINK the New Parking Rules. If you should have any questions or concerns regarding parking enforcement or extra parking, please feel free to reach out to our management company. We appreciate your cooperation. Sincerely, The Board of Directors and your fellow neighbors
