Each month, artist Nancy Miller Melchor, a Bob Ross Certified Instructor, teaches a new painting using Bob Ross painting techniques. Classes are $35 and supplies are included. Furniture painting class w/ Azure Creativity Art Studios was a hit!
We hope you join the family of Henry Relaford, a Liberty County icon, in this free screening of Hell Fire & Glory, a film by Shugalene Productions, produced & directed by Charlene R. Jones. This free opportunity will take place at the Liberty County Performing Arts Center. The film details the lives of 3 amazing men who were all active in the Civil Rights movement. Mr. Relaford passed away in 2016.
This is why our Board member Jennifer Heider Buehler HAACs: When I moved to Liberty County, ten years ago, I was thrilled to find the HAAC! I had come from a community that was rich with the arts; but only on a professional level. Nothing existed at the local/non professional level. When I found the HAAC, I knew I had to get involved. I am so proud to have helped build up the HAAC to what it is today. 10 years ago, we were a board of 5, with no "home" of our own. To have been a part of the growth and development has been so rewarding. Everything from belly dancing to black light painting, theatre and sewing! There is something for everyone and it will always be my passion and close to my heart. The HAAC is an all volunteer board of directors. #community #giveback
