Description
The Hidalgo Volunteer Fire Department was established in 1954 and was under the direction of Fire Chief Paul Henderson.
Today the Hidalgo Volunteer Fire Department consists of 1 Chief, 1 Assistant Chief, 1 Fire Marshal/Captain, 3 Lieutenants, and 13 Firefighters.
The fleet consists of 2 pumper fire trucks, 1 tanker, 1 brush truck, 3 administrative vehicles, 2 rescue boat, and 1 fire safety house.
