What is a "Counselor-In-Training"? The Counselor-In-Training "C.I.T" Program is designed especially for 14-18 year olds who are interested in learning how to work with children. The program’s goal is to teach the C.I.T. the skills necessary for leadership. The teen must be mature, self-confident and reliable. He/She must possess initiative and have a genuine interest in assisting counselors with the daily activities involved in an outdoor summer camp setting. To apply for this program, call 708-598-1233. You must meet the following requirements to be considered: 1. You must be 14 years by June 7, 2017. 2. You must complete an application form and return it to Krueger Park Recreation Center before June 2. 3. A permission form must be signed by your parent/guardian.

Preschool registration for the 2017-2018 school year is now open to Residents & Non-Residents. We offer AM classes (8:45 - 11:45 a.m.) and PM classes (12:15-3:15 p.m.). Fees are: Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday - $1,700 Monday/Wednesday/Friday - $940 Tuesday/Thursday - $775 *Non-residents must add $15 to this fee. $100 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit required at time of registration. We also offer additional services to extend your child's day with us. Please call for more information.

Splash Pad Camp Every day (weather permitting) campers will be able to enjoy the Splash Pad for 45 minutes. Also, girls and boys will enjoy a variety of activities including games, sports, and crafts, while having fun. A weekly newsletter will keep you posted on upcoming activities. Please note that Monday and Wednesday lesson plans will be repeated on Tuesday and Thursday. The fee includes all program supplies, craft supplies, and a camp t-shirt. NOTE: All children must be toilet trained. Late fees will be charged for children picked up after 11:40 a.m. Children must be able to participate independently in age appropriate activities, and able to follow verbal instructions. Juice or lemonade will be provided each day. On rainy days, camp will be indoors. No class July 3 & 4.
