Continuing a beautiful ICCS tradition, the Pass It On Mass. Our 8th graders pass on the Celtic legacy to our young Kindergarten class who in 8 short years will have the honor of “PASSING IT ON” themselves.

Today we celebrate our annual Pass it On Mass with our 8th graders and Kindergarteners. An Immaculate tradition that goes back decades. This picture was taken in 1977 with Ernie Sainz being escorted into church by an 8th grader. Today Ernie’s 6 year old son will also be escorted in as our Kindergarteners bid farewell to our 8th graders and our graduates in turn will Pass On what it means to be a Celtic to our little ones.

Today our parish and school received such a great gift as Father Matthew Gomez, Class of 2005, celebrated his First Mass at the altar where he received his First Communion and was Confirmed. What a Mother’s Day gift for his mother, an Immaculate mom of three ICCS alumni, who entered a very exclusive sisterhood: mothers of priests! Congratulations Father Matthew! We are so proud of you.
