TEAM BFH!! Do you know that you can go on Mission trip right in your backyard? Thankful to St. Jude Church and its teen youth coming on a week long mission trip to help the children we serve! Charity starts at home and truly begins with sparking our youth to give of their time and talents and to help those less fortunate! We are thankful and we are blessed! People ask me what a typical Saturday looks like at BFH? Everyday is a Good Day!! Today we signed up two new children as BFH children, had 4 BFH children come "shopping" in their special house, gave a new foster mom a donated high chair, gave children a play kitchen, accepted tons of new donations including sweepers and baking pans for the house, signed up 3 new mentors, and counseled two teen youth in crises! Thank you to YOU!!! You make my Saturday's-GREAT! We are helping children in need-together!! ❤️😁❤️Lori

TEAM BFH- I thought I'd share this with all of you hoping to adopt your foster children! Lori❤️ My prayer Lord, I know that there've been times I haven't done whats right. I didn't follow in your path, or say my prayers at night. I've lived my life for me alone but now that all has changed. I stand before you humbled and call upon your name. I prayed that you would give me a child of my own A child of my heart, not of my flesh and bone. You answered my prayer and now I know what I never knew before What it's like to be a mother and to love another more. I thank you for this Lord, for this joy that I have known for this child of my heart, not of my flesh and bone. Now please don't take him from me Lord, don't let him go away Let me watch him grow and learn, please Lord let him stay. I pray to you with all I am, what little that may be I leave it up to you to control my destiny For you alone have the power, you are the Lord divine You alone can make it happen...please make this baby mine. ❤️🙏❤️

Saturday is Giving Day at BFH!! Do you know that BFH opens it doors every Saturday from 9-12 to accept donations for the children we serve? Volunteers help sort through these donations to make sure they are the best for our kids!! Remember when making donations to give new or next to new items!! We want our children to see their worth!!
