On Saturday, June 17th, we will be joined by Kim Stonebrook for a Yoga class from 8-9:00 AM. This will be a free class for the public. Hope you can make it! Kim Stonebrook In April of 2012, Kim suffered a debilitating accident that left her unable to walk unassisted. After struggling with rehabilitation for over a year, her life was forever altered when she found yoga. Or rather when yoga found her. Thanks to a chance meeting she was introduced to her teacher, Karen Miscall-Bannon, and thus began her journey of transformational healing through the Embodyoga program. In January of 2014, Kim began her 200-hour teacher training with Karen and Embodyoga at Main Street Yoga of Placerville, Ca. Upon completion, she continued on to achieve the 500-hour certification in September of 2016. Kim began teaching in October of 2014. Forever a student she continues to earn certifications adding to an ever-expanding repertoire. Kim presents a dynamic approach to her teachings with each class offering meditation, pranayama (breath work) and asana (poses) with the aspiration of assisting her students on their journey of truly embodying their yoga practice.
