For our Author Series this month, local author and photographer Tera Girardin will be at BreakAway Café on Thursday, May 25th, from 6pm-8pm to discuss her beautiful book "Faces of Autism". We'll have a Meet and Greet from 6pm-7pm and Tera will talk about her book and about Autism from 7pm-8pm. Signed copies of the book will be available for purchase at the café. Enjoy a meal, dessert or a glass of your favorite drink (we have a bar and coffee shop) while hearing Tera's inspiring story and journey. See her photos beautifully displayed on the walls of the café. Enjoy our "Nature and Nurture" exhibit as well showcasing Tera's photography and artist figurines.

Come join us! $8.95 for each trip to the Bloody Mary Bar and includes glass with vodka (upgrades available), a plate for the goodies at the bar, and a chaser upon request! ⚱

Did you know we have a private room for our wonderful customers to use? We call it the "Community Room" and it can seat up to 12 people around a dining room table! We offer it free of charge and it's on a "first come, first served" policy. Don't have that many people? No problem! We can take up 1 or 2 leaves out of the table and remove some chairs. What if your group needs to guarantee the use of the room for a certain day and time? You simply fill out a form and purchase a $25 gift card to complete your reservation. You may use your gift card towards any future purchase at BreakAway Arts and/or BreakAway Cafe...or give it as a gift! Uses: meetings, birthdays, trainings, and more!

Nature & Nurture Opening Reception

BreakAway's Nature & Nurture Exhibit combines sweet faces of autistic children by photographer, Tera Girardin, with amazing dolls, largely made with natural materials and fibers by 5 twin cities doll/fiber artists.
