The Freight House Restaurant
Description
Our Southern food is scrumptious, our hospitality abundant, and our hometown pride overflowing. Everyone’s welcome at the Freight House. At Freight House, we're full of hospitality, hometown pride, and Southern cooking at its finest. Built by L&N railroad as a freight depot in 1915, our century-old building has character in every brick and beam. Today, we’re a proud fixture of historic downtown Hartselle, serving classic, refined Southern fare. From slow-cooked pinto beans to savory prime rib, everything is made by hand, right down to our potato chips. We’re honored to be a part of this building’s long life, and we can’t wait to show you what makes Hartselle the City of Southern Hospitality.
