St. Joseph High School is a four-year co-educational Catholic high school located in Hammonton, New Jersey, United States, serving students in grades 9 - 12, under the auspices of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Camden. The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Secondary Schools since 1990.After being established in 1935 as a combination preparatory school and seminary in 1935, the high school was opened to all attendees in 1942.As of the 2013-14 school year, the school had an enrollment of 371 students and 23.9 faculty members (on an FTE basis) with a student–teacher ratio of 15.5:1.AthleticsThe St. Joseph High School Wildcats compete in the National Division of the Cape-Atlantic League, an athletic conference consisting of both parochial and private and public high schools located in Atlantic County, Cape May County, Cumberland County, and Gloucester County, that operates under the aegis of the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association.The softball team won the 2007 Non-Public South B state sectional championship with a string of shutout victories over Timothy Christian School (15-0), St. Rose High School (6-0) and Gloucester Catholic High School (2-0) in the tournament final.
