Sunday, November 19th, we had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with author, Joanna M. Leone, for a nostalgia hour. Joanna is the author of the book, Slices of Life: Italian American Stories, which contains Collective Memoirs of Italian Americans (from the Connecticut and the Northeast) sharing their family traditions, celebrations, holiday, and travel stories. It is a keepsake for future generations. Joanna has been visiting several times a year over the last two and a half years. She has created many friendships with our residents. They look forward to her sharing excerpts from her book, and reminiscing with stories of their own. Thank you for visiting Joanna! #whitneyrehab
